Inside Mount Type
Important: Inside mount requires exact measurements of the window. Especially the width. Not all blinds are made the same. Please provide us with the inside frame measurements.
Outside Mount Type
Important: Outside mounted blinds or shades are installed outside the window frame or flat molding frame, with brackets mounted to the wall or flat molding frame.
Inside Mount Type Measurement
Measuring for width: Measure exact distance between inside surfaces of window frame at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the narrowest width. Width deductions 1 cm.
Measuring for height: Measure exact distance from inside surface at top of window to sill. If you prefer shade not to touch sill. Height deductions 1 cm.
Depth Requirements: The first step is to confirm that your window is deep enough for an inside mount.
Outside Mount Type Measurement
Measuring for width: Measure the width of the area you wish to cover. If space allows we recommend adding 6~10 cm (3~5 cm each side) to this measurement to help eliminate light seepage.
Measuring for height: Measure the width of the area you wish to cover. If space allows we recommend adding 15~20 cm to this measurement to help eliminate light seepage. Floor To Ceiling Windows we recommend the height deductions 1~2 cm will be better.
